Our 30th Birthday seasons of concerts, 2015-2016 is now on public sale.The season features music ranging from Bach to Bruckner via Beethoven and a brand new commission by Michael Gordon, and culminates in a celebratory performance of Weber’s Der Freischutz on 7 June 2016. During the year a fantastic array of artists join us including our Principal Artists Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Mark Elder and Vladimir Jurowski, Emeritus Conductor Sir Roger Norrington and guests including Marin Alsop, Rachel Podger, Ian Bostridge, Sir Andras Schiff, John Butt and Sarah Connolly.
This year, due to the closure of the Queen Elizabeth Hall for refurbishment some of our smaller programmes will take place at St John’s Smith Square, a fantastic opportunity to hear us in this beautiful venue.
