Audience boos for Salieri here @CamdenAssembly for rumours he poisoned Mozart. Unfair, says oboe Dan. #oaenightshift
For Tuesday’s gig at Southbank Centre it gives us great pleasure to announce that we’ll be joined by old friends Harry Harris and Idle Fret.
Singer/songwriter Harry Harris last performed with us back in 2013. Since then he’s released a new album (January’s Songs About Other People), played at some major UK festivals and no doubt a whole host of other things. Get an idea of what he’s about by listening to some tracks over at his website, and reading a (slightly dated) speed interview we did with him. Harry will be playing in the bar from 9pm on Tuesday.
How to describe Idle Fret? Record label/promoters/DJs? Family/ensemble/collective? Probably all of those things. As well as releasing records by the likes of Stealing Sheep and Listing Ships, and putting on their own shows, they also spin other people’s records. And that’s what they’ll be doing on Tuesday, in the bar after the gig. Check out their website and read another (again, slightly dated) speed interview with Darren (who’ll be DJing on Tuesday).
