Great first @OAENightShift at @CamdenAssembly. @LuiseBuchberger wants you to guess what we played from her glasses! https://t.co/Xte5CRStLg
Last week we broke out the Pritt sticks and got crafty here at the OAE office, to fashion some rather special envelopes for our new Education Appeal. We’re raising funds for our most ambitious Education tour to date – the Watercycle tour. The tour will visit 9 towns and cities across the UK taking a water themed selection of music old and new to over 10,000 young people in areas under-served by the arts.
When telling our supporters about the project we wanted something that would stand out in the post – and what better way than to use art created by some of the young people with whom we have worked? So members of the office team spent a happy hour or so reverting to their school days, getting handy with a pair of scissors and customising our plain white envelopes with quotes and artwork submitted to us.
Sadly not even an hour of industriousness could customise quite enough envelopes, so we had extra ones printed with with artwork and quotes. Huge thanks to NewStyle Print for printing these for us!
We’ll be posting again tomorrow with more details of the tour plus a new video showing you footage of the launch event.
