Cantata time. Today it's BWV182, or 'King of Heaven, welcome', as it's also known. It was written by Bach for Palm… twitter.com/i/web/status/9…
Last week we asked you to submit your renditions of Handel’s Hallelujah chorus.
We always knew it was risky. Like promising to throw the-party-to-end-all-parties and then only two people turning up. And we won’t lie to you, the response was less than overwhelming. But, ever-resourceful, we hit the streets of King’s Cross in search of willing (and not so willing) volunteers.
If you feature in our video (or even if you politely declined) then thanks, we had a blast doing it.
Hopefully that’s whetted your festive appetite. If so, join us for the entirety of Handel’s visionary, ecstatic Messiah at the Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday 9 December. Book tickets/more info.
