Over the last year we’ve had the opportunity to work with some fantastic collaborators and what’s more, some of those collaborators were our very own audience.  At the start of the season, we put a call-out to members of the OAE audience, asking for volunteers with a ‘strong look’ to star in a marketing campaign highlighting the diverse range of people that attend classical concerts.  We were approached by a diverse and dynamic selection of people, ranging from mime to muscle man and from dominatrix to drag queen, what resulted was a colourful and vibrant campaign, that we felt really captured what the OAE is about.  Now, as we approach our last concert of the season, we take a look back at the participants’ reactions to the very first, and have one last look at the characters that helped us to prove – not all audiences are the same.
