News just in - we've got one of these coming to our next gig at Old Queen's Head, Islington, on Monday 29 April. It… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Since the last Night Shift of 2016 wound down in Peckham last November, we’ve been busy brewing up a storm for the New Year.
Throughout 2017 (ok, with a bit of a summer break), we’ll be back monthly rotating between the three venues you packed out for The Night Shift last year. That’s The George Tavern in Whitechapel (where we’re Resident Orchestra), the Old Queen’s Head in Islington and the CLF Art Café at the taco-tastic Bussey Building in Peckham.
But that’s not all – we’re adding a new venue, grungy gig den turned burger and beer joint Camden Assembly (formerly the Barfly) in Chalk Farm.
Apart from that it’s more classical music, minus the rules, in the same friendly format with the same cheap ticket prices.
But with a few new surprises (a singer here, a support act there, maybe the odd music hall performer) thrown in along the way.
These are the first four gigs:
Tuesday 28 February – The George Tavern, Whitechapel
Monday 3 April – Old Queen’s Head, Islington
Tuesday 25 April – CLF Art Café, Bussey Building, Peckham
Tuesday 23 May – Camden Assembly
Tickets are on sale now.
