The last night of the tour takes us back to London, and to a new venue for us – the Monarch, Camden.
A Camden institution, the Monarch hosts regular quiz nights, comedy and music gigs. The music is varied, with gigs ranging from indie rock artists Temper Trap, to performances by the infamous Winehouse and Pete Doherty. There are also weekly soundtrack evenings, nights devoted to metalwork and club nights. It offers a typically British menu, from sausage and mash to Sunday Roasts, all at reasonable prices.
Situated between Chalk Farm and Camden Town tube stations, The Monarch is traditionally furnished, Dickens-esque, with large comfy leather sofas and a dark, yet stylish interior.
A popular venue for drinkers and concertgoers, The Monarch’s mix of events means that there is something for everyone – including The Night Shift.
The Night Shift Pub Tour comes to The Monarch on Wednesday 23 October. Tickets still available for £10 (£4 students)
