All of us at the OAE were very sad to hear the news of Emeritus Conductor Franz Brüggen, who passed away at the age of 79 earlier this week – a conductor who has had an association with the OAE almost since the Orchestra’s inception.

On the cusp of romance – listen again + first reviews

Last night’s concert at the Queen Elizabeth Hall with conductor Frans Bruggen (pictured) was broadcast live by BBC Radio 3 and you can listen to it again for the next 7 days.
