I first worked for the OAE whilst working at Glyndebourne for a season in the middle of my Music degree. They were playing The Marriage of Figaro with Simon Rattle in the summer of 1989 and I was blown away by their fresh approach to the music. After that I worked at The Academy of Ancient Music, ENO, Wigmore Hall and the Royal Academy of Music before coming to the OAE as Development Director in 2014.
Involving our supporters in what we do is the most exciting part of my job and we’re lucky to have such talented musicians to welcome our donors into the OAE family. We’re always looking for more supporters and for different ways to engage them with our work so do get in touch if you would like to support this fantastic orchestra. We have a wide range of projects and activities that need support – there really is something for everyone!
