ST JOHN PASSION WITH POLYPHONY
The Good Friday performance of St John's Smith Square's Easter Festival.
2024 marks the 300th anniversary of the first performance of Bach’s St John Passion. Stephen Layton conducts Polyphony and the OAE in a very special Good Friday performance of Bach’s St John Passion. The soloists are James Gilchrist (Evangelist), Neal Davies (Christ), Rowan Pierce (soprano), Iestyn Davies (countertenor), Ruairi Bowen (tenor) and Ashley Riches (bass).
