"What we call the beginning is often the end
And to make an end is to make a beginning.
The end is where we start from."
This Spring we’re joined by leading names from the world of historical performance. Louise Alder and Riccardo Minasi in an all-Mozart programme, award-winning conductor Peter Whelan directs Bach’s Easter Oratorio, Maxim Emelyanychev leads an adventure into the late Romantic world of Sibelius and Rachmaninov, and we reunite with Sir András Schiff for a mini-festival of Mendelssohn’s complete symphonies and best-loved concertos.
