Venue Access

Southbank Centre
We are a resident orchestra at the UK’s largest arts centre. You will find more information on the Southbank Centre’s Access & Accessibility page.

Kings Place
Bach, the Universe and Everything takes place here. Their Access Information page has details about the venue and the Kings Place Access Scheme.

The Night Shift
Our informal chamber music takes place in pubs around London and elsewhere. We endeavour to make these events accessible to as many people as possible, but due to the nature of some pubs some locations may not be suited to everyone. If you have an access question about attending The Night Shift please email us or call 020 8159 9322. We welcome dogs at The Night Shift.

Acland Burghley School
Some of our events take place in the Assembly Hall at Acland Burghley School in Tufnell Park where we are based. The Hall has level access from street level. If you have any questions or need assistance when attending events please email us or call us on 020 8159 9322.

Families
There are usually baby change facilities and buggy/scooter ‘parking’ at our OAE TOTS and other family events. Please contact us if you require more information or assistance.

Tickets & Other Ways to Hear the OAE

Wheelchair Seats
Most venues we perform at will have wheelchair spaces with a companion seat. For concerts at the Southbank Centre you can book directly on our website, and for other venues please refer to the information provided by venue websites or contact the venue directly. For other access requirements please contact us via our Box Office.

Companion Seats
If you require someone to accompany you at an event we are happy to offer companion seats – please contact us for assistance.

Concessions
At the Southbank Centre we offer discounts for students and Under 35s which can be booked online (please note that ID may be requested). Groups of 10 people or more can book by contacting our Box Office by email or phone. Tickets for The Night Shift are ‘pay what you choose’ from £7. For other venues please view their website.

Enjoy the OAE at home
We have an ongoing partnership with Marquee TV where you will find a collection featuring a number of live performances and other films. You can also enjoy our video content on our YouTube channel including even more full performances if you become a member.
