Teatime Classics: Haydn 99 & Beethoven 2

Join the OAE Experience ensemble for an hour of effervescent classics.

Following an intensive three days of rehearsals and coaching, the OAE Experience ensemble will perform a selection of movements from Haydn’s Symphony No. 99 and Symphony No. 2 by Beethoven. The players and directors will share some of the secrets of the ways in which they have explored these two masterpieces composed around a decade apart.

The Ann and Peter Law OAE Experience Scheme gives gifted period instrument musicians the chance to work alongside our orchestral players. The two-year-long scheme is aimed at players who have already finished or are finishing their studies and allows participants to be involved in and be mentored by our musicians in a variety of events across the year.
