Discover the sound of history and the music of the 18th century with the OAE Experience Ensemble.

Hear two symphonies from Haydn’s time at the Esterhazy court where he delighted audiences and musicians alike. The programme opens with music from Chevalier de Saint-Georges, another remarkable musician of the 18th Century. The players will introduce their period instruments and highlight the historical quirks that make this unique musical world special.

The Ann and Peter Law OAE Experience scheme gives gifted period instrument musicians the chance to work alongside our orchestral players and is generously supported by The Hencoq Law Trust.
