Join us at one the the oldest music schools in the UK, for a talk and tour led by leader and violinist Maggie Faultless. Maggie’s first concert with the OAE was Indomeno with Sir Simon Rattle at the Southbank Centre nearly 40 years ago. Inspired by the Orchestra’s commitment to enrich and shape the artistic landscape, Maggie is a legator to the OAE. Read Maggie’s own words about her legacy pledge in our blog here: Maggie’s legacy with the OAE.
After opening hours, join us for a talk hosted in the piano gallery, followed by a private tour around the strings gallery and workshop, accompanied by Curator of Instruments for the Royal Academy of Music, Barbara Meyer. This tour is a free event for members of the 1986 Society in recognition of their support.
This trip is available to members of the 1986 Society and invited guests.
