We've been working on a new series, 'Take a Beat', where we chat with the wonderful people who make the music of the OAE.
Whether we’re chilling in a park, sipping coffee at a cafe, rehearsing at school, or just hanging out on the street, we dive into the vibrant world of the people of the OAE. With a mix of rapid-fire questions – think quirky, whimsical, and all things musical and philosophical – we quiz the musical masterminds on their hobbies, dreams, and maybe even a few surprises!
In series one, we chat to oboe player Leo Duarte, composers Electra Perivolaris, Roxanna Panufnik and Freya Waley-Cohen, keyboardist Olga Pashchenko, Principal Keyboard Steven Devine, and Principal Viola Max Mandel.
