What Classical Musicians Give up for their Careers 11 March 2020

Our Faust: the Life of a Composer concert on Wednesday 25th March at Southbank Centre has been inspired by Thomas Mann's novel (Doctor Faustus: the Life of the German Composer Adrian Leverkühn, Told by a Friend) where a man sells his soul in order to become a musical genius. We asked our players what 'the cost of greatness' is for doing what they love as a career.
